Built on the same plan-level coverage data that powers RxCheckUp for prescribers.

The Problem

Formulary changes are public. Finding out about them isn't.

Payers and PBMs publish new formulary versions and policy updates on their own schedules, across hundreds of plans. Account teams learn about a change from a rep, from a quarterly data cut, or from a dip in the numbers — often weeks after it took effect. By then a win has gone unworked and a loss has already cost you.

How It Works

Three steps. Then it just runs.

1. Load your products

Add your brands by name or NDC, the competitors you want to watch, and the territories and people each plan affects.

2. We watch every public formulary and policy

Our pipeline continuously checks published formularies and medical policies against the last version we verified, plan by plan.

3. Alerts route to the people it affects

Each change goes out with the before-and-after, the source document, the effective date and a recommended next step — to your account team and the reps on that plan.

What We Monitor

Every public formulary and policy, plan by plan.

Plans under the same payer follow different formularies and policies. We track them at the plan level, so an alert tells you exactly which plans moved — not just which payer.

Medicare Part D & Medicare Advantage

Plan-level Part D and MA-PD formularies, tracked against the most current published version.

Medicaid — FFS and managed care

State preferred drug lists and managed Medicaid (MCO) formularies across all 50 states.

Commercial plans & national PBMs

Commercial formularies and the national PBM lists behind them — CVS Caremark, Express Scripts, OptumRx, Prime and major regional payers.

Medical & utilization-management policies

Prior authorization criteria, step therapy, quantity limits, exclusions and effective dates — not just on-or-off formulary status.

Changes we alert on

  • Product added to a formulary
  • Product removed or excluded
  • Tier change
  • Prior authorization added or removed
  • Step therapy added, removed or changed
  • Quantity limit change
  • Preferred ↔ non-preferred status
  • New or updated medical policy naming your product
  • Effective date announced

Every alert carries the before-and-after, a link to the source document, the version or effective date, and when we detected it.

Why It Matters

Faster feedback to the field. On both kinds of news.

Wins reach the field sooner

When a plan adds your product or drops a restriction, the reps who cover that plan know the same day — while the win is fresh and the message lands.

Stop the bleed on negative changes

No more finding out second-hand, or weeks after a plan moved your product. Surface it immediately and respond before the field feels it in the numbers.

Be the team that saw it coming

Payer account teams look involved and prepared: first to know, first to brief leadership and the sales force, with the source document in hand.

Delivered by email and SMS, in a product × plan dashboard with change history, and into Salesforce or Veeva so reps act in their workflow.
